Tergar International, founded by revered Dharma teacher and meditation master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, announced a free webinar on August 18 in which American actor and musician Michael Imperioli will share his experiences with meditation and speak on the topic "Why external success has not translated into internal fulfillment.”

« Michael Imperioli, celebrated for his role in the critically acclaimed HBO series The Sopranos and for his group Zopa, will join Tergar's International Executive Director, Dr. Cortland Dahl, to share his personal insights and stories about his experience with meditation and Buddhism,” Tergar told BDG

Tergar International is a non-profit organization founded by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, revered Dharma Master and master of the Karma Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism. Rinpoche's intention through Tergar is to make the ancient practice of meditation accessible to the modern world. With a global community of meditators and an international network of centers and groups, Tergar is dedicated to helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy and benefits of meditation.

Despite his considerable success and fame as an actor and musician, Imperioli, who has been a Buddhist since 2008, found that his career in the arts did not bring him the inner fulfillment he sought: "I really wanted a certain degree of success, and I was driven towards that,” Imperioli said. “When this success came, I realized that it was not an end in itself. I intuitively felt that what was missing was on a spiritual level, that wisdom was missing. »
