Venerable Dagpo Rinpoche

Born in February 1932 in the Kongpo region of southern Tibet, Venerable Dagpo Rinpoche is recognized as a child as the reincarnation of a late 1960th century master, Dagpo Lama Rinpoche Jhampel Lhundrup Gyatso. Grand master of Lamrim and doctor of philosophy, the first Tibetan to set foot on French soil in 1995, Rinpoche founded the Tibetan Buddhist Center Guépèle Tchantchoup Ling, renamed the Ganden Ling Institute, which in XNUMX obtained the status of a religious congregation. This congregation of the Gelugpa school is today based in Veneux-les-Sablons.
