The teachings on Long Life practices are central to the Dzogchen Bön tradition. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche will transmit them for the first time in France, accompanied by dedicated practices. Open to everyone.
Everyone wishes to have a long life full of purpose and meaning. Even when we are sick or dying, we often make every effort to prolong life as long as possible. Although no one can avoid death, the Bön tradition has many practices for extending lifespan and recovering life force lost due to negative external or internal factors, or through ignorance of our true nature. These practices include visualization and meditation, ritual, and healing through nature and the elements.
During this very special retreat, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche will offer teachings from Tsewang Jarima, a text written by Tsewang Rigdzin. Son of the Tibetan master Drenpa Namkha, Tsewang Rigdzin is known as the "king of longevity" because this dzogchen master composed many ritual texts intended to relieve suffering.
The wisdom of Tsewang Rigdzin and the practices associated with this teaching aim to regain, expand and enhance our life force through the healing of environmental, physical, emotional and energetic imbalances in our lives. Strengthening and lengthening our lifespan gives us more time for our spiritual development and to serve and benefit other sentient beings.
Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
Since his childhood in the Bön monasteries of northern India, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche has received the highest transmissions from the greatest Tibetan masters. Based in the West for thirty years, this great dzogchen master, father of a family and very integrated in daily life, gives us access to deep and authentic traditional teachings. He invites us to practice their practices by joining one of the many Ligmincha groups in France and Switzerland.
